From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel like family, attending to our every need and even giving us a lift into town. The beautifully preserved rustic building is tucked away in a peaceful area, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast in the garden among the flowers was a delight, and in the evening, the bar was a great place to socialize with other guests. The themed rooms, like our Indian room, were cozy and comfortable, and the evening meals were tasty and communal. The location is a hidden gem just a short distance from the city, with stunning natural views and a pool that feels like an Ibiza hideaway. The English owners are warm and welcoming, and they cater to families with baby beds and baby dinners. We loved the remote location and the personalized care we received throughout our stay. The food was simply delicious! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Without doubt, Sumidors is one of the most welcoming places I have ever stayed. The owners are wonderfully hospitable and completely understand what it is their guests appreciate. They offer an individual touch of attention according to each guest allowing you as much or as little space as you need. The subtlety of their way of doing things only makes you want to go back. It was a memorable stay and the hotel is a hidden gem that lets you escape from the world. Long may it stay like that...!

The place is really beautiful and the staff is so friendly and warm. You can really relax and feel "at home". I loved the bar at night and the relaxing atmosphere.
Unfortunately the rooms have only 1 tiny window and it was way too hot to sleep. I would suggest a fan could improve the situation. Also be prepared to be devoured by the mosquitos.

This hotel offers exceptional value for money, with prices that are more than reasonable considering the stunning location amongst the hillside overlooking a beautiful valley. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the cozy and comfortable rooms with their own unique character, to the warm and welcoming staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The breakfast buffet is a delightful surprise, with freshly made croissants, a variety of bread, and delicious local delicacies like jamon serrano and chorizo.
All was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

Sumidors is a very special place. Iain and Neil are very welcoming hosts, the location is superb and tranquil, it feels more like a family experience than being in a city hotel. It is a very sociable environment, with many nationalities getting together for breakfast copffee or evening stories in the honesty bar of the hotel. It may not be ideal for everyone, but if you are looking to unwind, it is hard not to do so here! Well done Iain and Neil and best success to you both. We will be recommending your hotel to others and will see you next year! Brian & Didi

Fantastic setting in the hills outside of Sitges. This is a peaceful retreat that is still in touch with the modern world requirements, so you can feel a million miles away or be in touch via the free WiFi. Great pool nestled on the hillside with views that need to be seen to be appreciated. Loved the honesty bar and overall relaxed attitude to being a guest at Hotel Sumidors. Be ready for the track up the hill and once you have done it once, you will be flying up and down to this unique and one off Hotel.

Good location but very badlysignposted and we spent a long time driving round trying to find it.
1. The rooms were small, cramped, very hot, no aircon or proper ventilation. The paintwork and decor was dark, dismal and depressing. 2. There was no mosquito protection and there were the most aggressive mosquitos I have ever come across. We and other guests we encountered were up all night. Was a terrible start to a holiday. 3. When I mentioned this to the owner he became surly and aggressive. He said he "didn't know" there were mosquitos. Very upsetting and unpleasant. We had lost a whole nights sleep and my wife was literally in tears. 4. Breakfast - dreadful. The croissant were dry and tasteless, the coffee not good and if you wanted proper machine coffee you had to pay extra. 5. Swimming pool - not very clean and the owners dogs - large alsations- were constantly drinking from it. GIve this place a miss and go to one of the local Spanish-owned rural hotels where the service is much better as is the cleanliness and quality of food.

My partner and I had a memorable stay at a cozy hotel nestled in a secluded mountain surrounded by vineyards. They suggested the Carnivor restaurant located at the foot of the hill, which earned us an excellent idea of typical Catalonian food. For breakfast, we enjoyed a wide range of choices of freshly baked bread and perfectly brewed coffee. The room was beautifully decorated in an African or Indian style, with soft lighting throughout. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and well equipped. the hotel provided maps and guides to visit stunning nearby destinations such as Sitges, which is about 10-15 minutes away by car.
The hotel may be challenging to reach without a car.

The owners were extremly welcoming and friendly. It is a beautiful building, full of antique furniture and interesting objects and each room has a theme. We stayed in the Indian room which was lovely and had a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The evening meal was tasty and the owners and clients all ate together under the pagoda. It is a very peaceful place with lots of places to sit and do whatever you want.

This hotel is a hidden gem close to nature, set in a beautiful location by a vineyard in the heart of the forest. The hotel facilities were impeccable, with a sparkling clean pool and a transportation service to explore the surrounding areas. I loved starting my day with their fresh and delicious breakfast and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
Everything was fantastic.

Hidden Gem with Stunning Views and Delicious Food
Located in the hills just a short drive from popular tourist destinations, this hotel offers breathtaking views and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The pool and honesty bar are great amenities, and the home-cooked dinners are delicious and a real highlight of the stay. Plus, the hosts are friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel is a bit difficult to access, as the road leading up to it is quite steep and winding. However, this is to be expected in such a remote location.
